A short story of how I came to do this work, and what brought me to a consulting room in Berlin.
My journey in cognitive psychology and counselling is driven by a commitment to helping people work through the emotional and behavioural challenges of living in new and unfamiliar environments. After completing my training in Bristol and earning a PhD in Psychology, I dedicated myself to understanding how our minds adapt to life’s complexities, particularly during times of change.
Having lived and worked in Taiwan, the UK, France, Belgium, and now Germany, I bring a global perspective to my practice. Berlin, with its restless expat community, is the right backdrop for this work. I understand the pressures and uncertainties that come with adjusting to a new culture, and I am committed to helping fellow expats find clarity, resilience, and balance during these transitions.
I work with clients facing burnout, career transitions, anxiety, attachment issues, and trauma. Grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, my approach focuses on the specific stressors of expatriate life — managing the emotional toll of uprooting, overcoming feelings of disconnection, navigating career uncertainty in a new country.
My mission is to help you regain stability and confidence as you adjust to life abroad. Together we work toward balance, purpose, and a deeper sense of well-being — so that life across cultures becomes something you can actually inhabit, not only survive.
